About AdPR

Our department prepares students to be creative problem solvers, writers, managers, policy and communication decision makers, media planners and analysts in the fields of mass communication, advertising and public relations. This program emphasizes persuasive communication skills in traditional and new media that are essential for effective communication in the 21st century. The undergraduate program offers majors in both advertising and public relations.

The Grady ADPR Department is a Top-5 nationally-ranked program. In addition to a core program of required skills, management, design and writing courses, ADPR majors can choose from an array of special topics classes in such areas as social media, political advertising, fundraising, advertising and consumer psychology, sex in advertising, international advertising and Latin-American telenovelas due to the varied expertise of the faculty.


Faculty

Executive Advisory Council

The AdPR Executive Advisory Council is a diverse group of leading communications professionals committed to supporting the vision of the Department of Advertising & Public Relations. They assist the department with activities that align with the most current industry drivers in both the commercial and public sectors worldwide.
