Two AdPR students, Dana Lam
“I am very excited to work in San Francisco this summer at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners,” said Lam, who will be working as a Strategy Intern. “In the past, I’ve worked with local non-profits and student organizations, but it’s been a dream of mine to work in media planning/strategy at an advertising agency,” stated Lam.
The MAIP Fellowship, also called the Multicultural Advertising Intern Program, is hosted by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4A’s). The program’s goal is to promote and develop diverse talent within the advertising industry through world-class development opportunities.
MAIP fellows engage in a 22-week program that’s both virtual and in-agency. Fellows focus on training and development of their skills while advertising agencies get the opportunity to access the top university talent.
“I am extremely grateful to 4A’s MAIP for giving me this career-building opportunity to work at a company that embraces diversity and encourages creativity. I am looking forward to learning more about agency life and to build my skills and experiences,” added Lam.
UGA’s AdPR Department is very proud of Lam and Delapenha for being selected for this program!
